About this archived opportunity
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Boulder Campus seeks a qualified contractor to replace aging solar-powered exterior pole luminaires with new hard-wired LED pole luminaires throughout selected areas of the campus. Work includes demolition and removal of existing solar lighting systems, design and installation of new pole bases and luminaires, photometric analysis, structural pole base design stamped by a licensed Colorado Professional Engineer, and installation of new electrical circuits originating from nearby building panelboards. Construction activities include trenching, backfilling, restoration of landscaped and hardscaped areas, equipment labeling, and coordination of electrical shutdowns. All work must comply with NEC, NIST site standards, and applicable safety and security requirements.
