The National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP) is a coordinating program for earthquake monitoring, research, implementation, education, and outreach activities developed and conducted by these four agencies: • Federal Emergency Management Agency • National Institute of Standards and Technology • National Science Foundation, and • U.S. Geological Survey FEMA awards non-competitive, grants to eligible states and territories with high to very high seismic risks to fund one or more of the following allowable activities.
