PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT SCOPE The laboratory of the Virology Department of the U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit SOUTH (NAMRU SOUTH) is looking to purchase reagents to prepare libraries using human samples that later will be sequenced in the MiSeq and MiniSeq platforms developed by Illumina, as part of the projects of next-generation sequencing (NGS) that are being conducted at this command. BACKGROUND The kits must be designed for library preparation and sequencing. The library preparation kit should include a variety of steps that include enzymatic fragmentation, size selection, end-repair, a-tail and ligation step in the same reaction.
