THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract to EDAX, LLC 5794 W Las Positas BLVD, Pleasanton California 94588-4083, United States. Under the authority of FAR 13.106 (1) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for maintenance of two detectors: an energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and an electron backscatter diffractometer (EBSD). Both were manufactured by EDAX, LLC.
