The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to perform the Dredge “Murden” with a crane rental with operator in Norfolk County, Virginia The work includes providing (1) 50-60-TON Rough Terrain, Truck-Mounted, or equivalent Crane with Operator to facilitate swapping out (2) CUMMINS Generator Engines (approximately 3,500-lbs each) for the Dredge Murden while dockside at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District Office (section 3). The crane shall be capable of performing a 3,500-lb lift (approximate weight of one generator engine) with an 80’ radius. The crane and operator shall be required for up to 12 hours per day, Monday through Sunday (as needed) to facilitate the removal and installation of the PORT and STBD Generator Engines.
