Request for Information (RFI) – Strategic Electromagnetic Spectrum Oversight Modernization Initiative The Department of War (DoW) Chief Information Officer (CIO), through the Electromagnetic Spectrum Office, is responsible for “policy, oversight, guidance, and coordination for all Department of Defense matters related to electromagnetic spectrum, including coordination with other Federal and industry agencies” under 10 U.S.C. 142 (b)(1)(F) and for fulfillment of DoW CIO’s budget certification for electromagnetic spectrum capabilities under 10 U.S.C. 142 (b)(2)(B).
