As part of the DUNE experiment, approximately 40,000 metric tons of Argon is required to be transported from the surface to the Central Utility Cavern (CUC) at the 4850 Level. This Argon will arrive at the Ross Shaft Argon Receiving station in liquid form where it will be stored in tanks.
