This Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain information for the purpose of market research which may inform future requirements and contract efforts for the turn-key delivery and execution of the PI538 Flash X-Ray (FXR) Pulse Replacement Project at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR). This FXR will operate in a combined testing environment with the Fast Burst Reactor (FBR). To support the physical integration of the larger next-generation FXR system, the existing facility must be modernized. The Government is exploring a range of acquisition strategies and plans to utilize the information gained from this White Paper to help further shape the acquisition strategy.
