DPR's SPM Grants Program supports projects that advance sustainable pest management practices through IPM research, knowledge, tools, outreach, and implementation in agricultural, urban, and/or wildland settings. The 2027 SPM Grants Program is particularly seeking applications that address one or more of the following topic areas: · Alternatives for weed management · Alternatives for rodent management · Alternatives to fumigants · Projects that support the adoption of emerging technologies to further IPM/SPM · Projects that address emerging pests and prevention strategies · Alternatives to pesticides prioritized for mitigation or evaluation by DPR (See: Continuous Evaluation and Mitigation Update) This year, DPR invites projects with budgets ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000 to apply.
