The Gordon County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed written bids from qualified contractors for the bridge repair on Slate Mine Road at Pine Log Creek. This project consists of repairing concrete by locating existing reinforcing steel and miscellaneous concrete embedments; saw cutting concrete; removing deteriorated concrete and/or existing patch material; and installing concrete patch material. Work also includes bridge painting (cleaning and repainting beams), adding rip-rap as directed, cleaning and resealing deck joints, and realigning bearings/repairing anchor bolts.
