About this opportunity
The U.S. Army TMDE Activity (USATA) has a requirement to procure a brand name purchase of two (2) Electronic Autocollimator that will be used for angle measurements parameter for the calibration of angular gage blocks, optical prisms, optical polygons, and optical wedges. The increased accuracy will eventually allow the APSL to lower its measurement uncertainties for angular calibrations and provide a better Test to Uncertainty ratio for the secondary reference labs. The autocollimators must have an accuracy better than 0.05 arcseconds with a resolution of less than 0.01 arcseconds, and a measurement range greater than ±100 arcseconds. They must also have dual axis measurement capability, have a relatively small footprint: approximately no larger than 12in by 8in, and an ISO 17025 accredit...
