Oklahoma City Healthcare System Hazardous Waste Disposal Performance Work Statement DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES 1.1 INTRODUCTION: The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was established on August 7th, 1953, as one of eight VA medical Centers in VISN 19. We service eighteen CBOC s (Community Based Outreach Centers) for Central and Western Oklahoma and one CBOC in Wichita Falls, TX. 1.2 SCOPE: The Contractor shall provide disposal of Environmental Protection Agency s (EPA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) defined hazardous, non-hazardous and universal waste. Providing recycling; lab pack disposal services; and dual waste disposal services. Additional services include disposal of neutralized Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) controlled substance and orientation training for the Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System (OKCVAHCS) located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA Rocky Mountain Network VISN 19. This will include any proposed or newly constructed sites that may be included after the award. Services must include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, analysis, travel, transportation, documentation, waste treatment, disposal and support services required to categorize, package, transport, document and dispose of hazardous, non-hazardous, neutralized DEA controlled substances and universal wastes from locations listed in Section 2.2.
