Notice of Intent – 341st Communications Squadron Radio Sites Migration Notice of Intent to Sole-source: The 341st Contracting Squadron intends to award on a sole-source basis a contract to Motorola Solutions, Inc. to support Malmstrom Air Force Base’s (MAFB) Radio Sites Migration requirement. Motorola Solutions is the only vendor capable of performing this work because the Malmstrom AFB RF sites depend entirely on the State of Montana's microwave backhaul, which is a proprietary, end-to-end Motorola communications ecosystem. The project's core requirement is to leverage the existing Motorola-specific MPLS hardware for the T1 to Ethernet migration.
