Statement of Need Metal Mounting Plates for Firewall Replacement – LCS Freedom Variant Ships 1. Purpose The purpose of this requirement is to procure fifty-four (54) custom-fabricated metal mounting plates to support the installation of replacement firewall equipment aboard Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Freedom Variant ships. These mounting plates are required to provide a secure and standardized mounting solution for the new firewall hardware as part of the fleet modernization effort. 2.
