About this opportunity

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to repair the Ingersoll Rand Model R5.5i-A125 air compressor located in McAllister Hall at the United States Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut. Work includes performing lockout/tagout procedures, replacing the failed cooling fan, inlet valve, unload solenoid, blowdown valve, air filter, oil filter, air/oil separator, and drive belt; removing an oil sample and changing the oil; checking the scavenge line; cleaning coolers and panel filter; greasing the motor if applicable; and testing the unit for proper operation before returning it to service.
