CPSC has identified only one vendor with the necessary equipment capable of mimicking human breathing while testing these types of snorkels. The purpose of this requirement is to perform a comprehensive engineering and physiological evaluation of full-face snorkel masks to address critical safety concerns regarding product design and user health.
