About this opportunity
The facility located at the USDA Subtropical Horticulture Research Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Station has approximately 6,000 square feet of lab and office area. The ductwork is collecting condensation and causing water damage. The HVAC system consists of one air-cooled chiller, associated pumps, and two variable air volume air handling units. The humidity in the labs was tested and determined to be higher than the acceptable range (70% or higher). A&E firm Clark Nexsen provided retro commissioning with TAB services and proposed solutions for the condensation problem, as well as designs for the renovation of the roof, HVAC, BAS, and chiller.
