NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The Indian Health Service (IHS), Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), intends to award a sole-source contract to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) under the authority of RFO FAR 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The contractor shall provide a CLIA-approved Proficiency Testing (PT) Program and CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program services for the PIMC Laboratory and Pathology Departments. Services include proficiency testing samples, accreditation services and fees, quality assurance studies, competency assessments, compliance resources, and other services necessary to maintain applicable laboratory accreditation standards.
