About this opportunity

This is a notice of intent to solicit from a single source. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), intends to award a purchase order to Elsys AG in Switzerland for a high-performance rack-mounted transient Data Acquisition Unit as described in the attached Required Specifications. Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Elsys AG is, to the USGS knowledge, the only source who can keep it consistent with existing equipment in the Rock Mechanics Laboratory. The requested procurement is necessary to ensure continuity, compatibility, and reliability of science.
