The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from consulting engineering firms to provide professional and/or surveying services to establish baseline (current) conditions and to monitor near and long-term physical responses of structures and structural elements. In addition to establishing baseline reference points, the monitoring may include diagnostic assessment of a structural or behavioral problem affecting the short-term and long-term durability and performance of structures or pave way for options for repair or rehabilitation.
