Request for Additional Information – Direct View Optics and Aiming Lasers Purpose: The U.S. Army Project Manager – Soldier Lethality (PM-SL) is looking to follow up on its market survey (REF sam.gov #W15QKN-26-P-028127 announcement 04 MAR to 03 APR 2026). Regarding direct view optics and aiming lasers for use on shoulder fired weapon systems (i.e. rifles, carbines and automatic rifles) within the Close Combat Force, with an additional query to vendors who previously responded to the announcement. Background: In support of potential future Small Arms Fire Control (SAFC) acquisition, a fair and open competition for optics and lasers is being planned.
