About this opportunity
Acquisition of one Siemens Vision 600 PET/CT scanner or equivalent. This procurement is urgently needed to replace an existing PET/CT scanner that will be end of service life on 31DEC2026 with a new state-of-the art PET/CT imaging system. The replacement will be used to perform clinical PET/CT scans in Clinical Center adult and pediatric patients with cancer and other serious conditions. The proposed PET/CT with state-of-the art sensitivity, resolution and field of view renders the current scanner obsolete. The resulting improved image quality allows for better detection and characterization of lesions, which is essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
