24 August 2026: The purpose of this update is to publish the Government’s response to the following questions: Question: For the 36V requirement, does the forklift have to be exactly 36V, or would a higher-voltage electric forklift, such as a 48V unit, also be acceptable as long as it meets or exceeds the other required specifications, including lift height and load capacity? Answer: 36V is the only acceptable voltage. Question: We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.
