The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to DMT-USA Inc., UEI DUDLHUXCKYJ7, under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The proposed acquisition is for one complete pressure myograph system for ex vivo physiological assessment of small arteries and other blood vessels obtained from mouse models. The system will support studies of vascular compliance, stiffness, diameter, axial force, pressure, and functional response under near-physiological conditions. The required system must include, at minimum: A pressure myograph chamber capable of mounting vessels ranging from approximately 60 micrometers to at least 1.2 millimeters in diameter.
