About this opportunity
The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide an overview of the Next Generation Short Range Interceptor (NGSRI) - Alternate Interceptor Demonstration (AID) to identify prospective acquisition opportunities. Attendance and participation in this Industry Day are voluntary; participation in any subsequent procurement or transaction is not contingent upon attendance. The current NGSRI program was initiated to meet the Department of the Army requirement for Maneuver Short Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) surface to air missile systems to replace the legacy FIM-92 Stinger man-portable air defense system.
