IAW RFO 5.101(c)(4): (i) The Government is seeking to procure the L3Harris AN/PRC-163 Radio system is a highly ruggedized, submersible, dual-channel tactical communication suite engineered for line-of-sight and beyond-line-of-sight satellite reachback, operating securely under NSA Certified Type 1 encryption across extreme temperatures. The system is supported by a modular ecosystem of components optimized for remote field operations: a 7.0 Ah olive-drab handheld battery providing smart SMBus telemetry, a high-draw 10.3 Ah tan manpack battery delivering dual-voltage power, and a black, watertight Battery Box Assembly ensuring secure pass-through connections.
