Description: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to award a sole-source purchase order using the procedures at FAR 12.102(a), as it has been determined that only one source is available to meet this specific requirement. The Government needs to buy three (3) PCS-400 Radar Simulators to replace three existing PCS-200 Radar Simulator units that are outdated and no longer supported. Buffalo Computer Graphics, Inc. (BCG) stopped selling the PCS-200 in 2017 and stopped repairs and support in 2022. BCG’s current replacement model is the PCS-400, which is designed to work with earlier BCG simulator models.
