The VHA will be attached directly to the All-Up Round+Canister (AUR+C) to facilitate the lifting, installation, and removal of canisters into submarines. The MEL attaches to the Upper Support Plate (USP) and interfaces with the VHA to use hydraulics for seating and extracting canisters.
