About this opportunity

(1) INTRODUCTION: The FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace has a requirement for Armed Security Guard Services. (2) CONTRACT TYPE AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: A single contract will be awarded with a 2-month Transition, a 12-month Base period and four (4) 12-month Option periods. (3) NATURE OF COMPETITION: The effort will be competed as a Total Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business (SEDB) 8(a) set-aside using best value tradeoff procedures. (4) STANDARD LANGUAGE: This announcement does not obligate the Government to award any effort resultant from this Solicitation/Screening Information Request (SIR).
