This project will be locally administered by the City of Williamsburg.The Work under this project consists of removing the existing pedestrian push buttons andinstalling new Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) push-button stations. It also includes installinga watertight GPS system in the traffic signal cabinets at the intersections identified in the projectplans. At some intersections, the work will include removing and replacing existing pedestriansignal heads, existing pedestrian signal panels, and pedestrian crossing signal heads with thecurrent VDOT standards.
