About this opportunity
The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain a contractor to process Fairfax Countyâs vacuum-collected leaves into mulch, including grinding, handling, stockpiling, and loading the finished material for transport. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, backup equipment, and supervision necessary to maintain efficient operations and meet specified production, quality, safety, and response requirements during the leaf season. Pricing will be a fully inclusive hourly rate covering all required services, equipment, labor, fuel, maintenance, mobilization, and loading, with no separate charges for these activities.
