About this opportunity
This opportunity provides ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 37 (Biometrics) and its Working Groups the reliable and competent U.S. leadership, management, and administration required to effectively complete its standards development and maintenance in accordance with the requirements specified in the ISO/IEC Directives, including the operation of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 37 meetings. One of NIJ’s legislated duties to promulgate standards and conformity assessment activities that benefit law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies. This includes development of minimum performance requirements and testing of biometric technologies such as facial-recognition software.
