The City of Chesapeake wishes to better understand the unique factors and considerations impacting the potential redevelopment of the former Southeastern Cooperative Educational Programs (SECEP) school site located in Deep Creek. The Deep Creek Area Plan, adopted in May 2026, envisions the former school site as a mixed-use destination for the Deep Creek community, transformed through adaptive reuse of the existing historic school buildings.
