The Re-Leaf Program has funded the planting of more than 18,000 trees through 190 projects in communities and schools across the state. Help Re-Leaf New Mexico by planting trees in your community or at your school! Annual applications are solicited in April and submittals are due in August. If successful, your community will enter into a contract with EMNRD – Forestry Division and be ready to plant trees the following spring. Eligible applicants include schools, municipalities, or local non-profit organizations. Trees must be planted on public land. Please note: we are not currently accepting applications as of February, 2025. Donate This program is solely dependent on financial contributions from our partners and donors. Checks should be made payable to: NM Forest Re-Leaf 1220 S. St. Francis Drive Santa Fe, NM 87505 Please note: When you provide a check as payment, you authorize the State of New Mexico to either use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction.
