Supporting Fire Training Facility Development . Applications are accepted each fiscal year from July 1 to September 1. The Regional Training Facilities Grant was created to provide fire services training facilities for Virginia localities. These facilities, funded under §38.2-401.D, offer multi-jurisdictional training across the Commonwealth, meeting the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1001 and 1403 trainingstandards. Forcible Entry Door Prop With approval from the Virginia Fire Services Board, the program can also fund the Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP) for acquiring, renovating, repairing, servicing, and managing fire services training props.
