About this opportunity
Protecting our waterways through proper vessel waste disposal. The Clean Vessel Act (CVA) Program provides funding for the installation and maintenance of vacuum pumpout systems that remove and properly dispose of sewage from recreational vessels. These systems play a crucial role in keeping our lakes, rivers, and coastal waters clean and safe. Note: All pumpout or dump station facilities funded through this program must be open to the public. Maintenance requirement: Facilities must be operated and maintained for a minimum of 8 years. Prorated funding: Projects may be subject to proration if secondary, non-eligible use or benefit is identified.
