Proposals must be submitted by Fri., June 5. Sections In Minnesota, the SNAP E&T program is administered by the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) in close partnership with the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). The program is operated in accordance with the federal Food and Nutrition Act of 2018 and Minnesota Statutes, section 256D.60. The state develops a SNAP E&T State Plan each year stipulating

Eligibility: SNAP E&T Responders must have the ability to fully fund programs with non-federal funding and seek fifty percent (50%) reimbursement. Awards are based on program offerings, staffing, amount of non-federal funding sources available to the agency and number of anticipated SNAP recipients engaged as SNAP E&T participants. SNAP E&T contracts do not have a minimum or maximum award and awards will not be divided evenly. Funding will be allocated through a competitive process with review by a committee representing content and, if applicable, community specialists with regional knowledge. If selected, Responder may only incur eligible expenditures when the contract is fully executed and the grant has reached its effective date.
