Chicago District to inform interested vendors of the district?s intent to issue a solicitation for Lake George East Phase II Dredging, East Chicago, Lake County, Illinois. PROJECT INFORMATION: The Lake George East Phase II Dredging project includes removal of contaminated sediments in the Lake George Canal (LGC) section of the Indiana Harbor Canal (IHC) via mechanical dredging with appropriate environmental monitoring and controls to improve sediment quality, water quality, and habitat within the LGC.
