This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers- Chicago District to inform interested vendors of the district?s intent to issue a solicitation for Upper Appleton Wall Repair, Appleton, Outagamie County, Wisconsin. PROJECT INFORMATION: The scope primarily includes removing the existing material on the upstream face of a stacked masonry stone wall, shotcrete, applying a waterproofing system, and replacing the material to the east and west of the Upper Appleton hydropower plant. The existing wall is roughly 150 years old and has had increased seepage over the past decade. It is founded on bedrock and +/- 20 feet tall.
