Solicitation: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12. Introduction: The Request for Proposal (RFP) is hereby issued to J C Bamford Excavators Limited (JCB) CAGE: 0JKF0 Large Business by the US Army Contracting Command-DTA. The USG plans to acquire an estimated quantity of 164 Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklifts (LCRTF). This requirement will be FOB Destination. The inspection and acceptance will be at Origin. System Description: The LCRTF performs lifting and materiel handling tasks when it is neither feasible nor economical to use a forklift of greater capacity.
