This acquisition is restricted to brand name or equal: Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus and Illumina DRAGENTM Bio-IT Platform because these systems will replace aging sequencers currently owned by the FDA. FDA needs continuity of maintaining the same sequencing methods, proprietary flow cells and reagents or equal, software licenses, and manufacturer-supported components necessary to operate mission driven project continuity. 1.
