Statement of Need and Objectives The purpose of this acquisition is to procure a Keyence BZ-X1000 All-in-One Fluorescence Microscope to support ongoing and future NHGRI research activities. Objectives include: Enable high-resolution fluorescence and brightfield imaging of biological specimens, including fixed cells, live cells, and tissue sections from pre-clinical mouse models. Support visualization and quantification of gene expression, vector distribution, cellular pathology, and therapeutic response. Enhance experimental efficiency, reproducibility, and data quality through integrated imaging, automation, and analysis capabilities.
