The Missouri Army National Guard (MOARNG) is issuing this pre-solicitation notice to inform industry of an upcoming requirement for a dual source laser engraving and cutting machine. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2). Please be advised that this notice is published solely to inform industry of the Government’s intent to solicit quotations directly from at least three small business manufacturers or authorized dealers of laser engraving and cutting machines whose primary business is supplying laser engraving and cutting machines to the public. The Government does not intend to post a formal solicitation notice on SAM.gov and is not requesting quotes in response to this notice. In accordance with RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2), for acquisitions at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), the Contracting Officer is electing to solicit quotations directly from suppliers. By posting this pre-solicitation notice, the Government is fulfilling the requirement to post a pre-solicitation notice in the GPE according to subpart 5.1. Product Description: The Missouri National Guard has a requirement for a dual source laser engraving and cutting machine and will evaluate commercial-off-the-shelf products that meet the agency’s requirements outlined in the attached Purchase Description. Solicitation & Award Timeline: The Missouri National Guard intends to use simplified procedures to solicit quotations and make an award to the small business manufacturer or authorized dealer that represents the best value to the Government. The anticipated award date is 04 September 2026.
