About this opportunity
This action is an exception to the fair opportunity process to be awarded as a new delivery order to PHDS Co. for a Fulcrum HPGe Gamma-ray Spectrometer in support of The Navy Environmental Preventative Medicine Unit 2 (NEPMU-2) and The Navy Environmental Preventative Medicine Unit 5 (NEPMU-5). The spectrometer must have technological capability to distinguish multiple isotopes simultaneously, distinguish gamma rays of similar energy, be ruggedized and portable enough for field use, and be able to transfer data via hardwire connections. The placement of a firm-fixed-price (FFP) delivery order is anticipated. The action is considered a new requirement, as it replaces an outdated unit currently in use.
