About this opportunity
The MPCA is seeking proposals from qualified organizations that will lead localized efforts within targeted Minnesota communities that have elevated chloride in wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) effluent or in local surface waters. The selected grantees will deliver direct technical and financial assistance to reduce permanent chloride pollution at the source before it enters Minnesota’s water resources. To ensure chloride reduction efforts funded with these grant funds are long-term and sustainable, the grantee must collaborate, educate, and communicate with members of the local community and state/local experts.
